#3 - The Fight

At the end of each day I am angry at myself for not fulfilling the things I planned to accomplish. Throughout the day I’ll be plotting on how to do it. In the end, even when the time comes I stay a thinker, still plotting; not evolving to a doer.

So what really is the problem? The simple and most logical answer is to that I am lazy; is that really it. Yeah it is. But the story is not yet over
This laziness has a cause of its own; we can trace our failure to the root of the problem. We need to face this root cause in order to be the person that we yearn to become. Watching movies, anime and other videos along with digging through various books and articles helps us to pinpoint that root cause. We’ll be able to identify ourselves with a character or the thoughts of the writer. Healing those wounds will help you get back on your feet. The next time you try, you are bound to accomplish.
As I once heard; “We are 100% responsible for what happens in our life
This is true for both good and bad deeds.

Though we didn't do the thing we planned to, we did the thing we wanted to; what our subconscious wanted, not our consciousness. You might want to write that important assignment and pull late into the night to finish it up for submission. Here the fight is between sleep and grades.

Our sub consciousness truly understands us, way better than our consciousness. The sub consciousness has the capability to overwrite the decisions made by our consciousness. This is what happens with the fight between sleep and grades. Our craving for sleep takes over us. We label that craving as the bad guy; not stopping to think that we’re the ones who let the craving control us.

The cravings can be in any form. Sleep and food cravings are most common in all people. But cravings for drugs, drinks e.t.c can ruin our life, way beyond measure. Fapping lies in between all these, it’s harmful but not so much. If you check out the NoFap community you’ll be blown away. Taking control of Fapping will open the doors to a new you.
This fight between our cravings decides who we become. Winning this fight is crucial to move forward, and evolve to a better you. This is the only way.

Well, there is a trick to this. Instead of increasing your strength as the only power, you could understand your opponent and use your weakness as strength. This is something I have been trying out for some time. I’ll talk about this in a coming article. Please do enjoy the fillers if it happens to come.

Well to increase your own strength, you could read self-improvement articles, books; even watch some movies or anime, to help understand what your problem really is and fight it. But the essence is in listening to your heart. So, keep trying and doing your best. There is always a better, don't ever be down.
